ROAR is a Dubai-based architecture and interior design firm created in 2013 by architect Pallavi Dean. They have completed over 84 projects in the area, including SensAsia Spa at The Kempinski Hotel Dubai, McKinsey & Co. headquarters, The Nursery of the Future and a number of luxury individual houses.

Jumeirah Islands

To develop a modern house for a young family, a design that incorporated beauty and a minimalist approach was created.

They settled on a tranquil and pleasant design with plenty of open space. The objective from the start was to create a multi-sensory experience.

They utilised their User Experience Design research tool to meet the family’s design goal while also future-proofing the space as the family expands.

Datwani

To create an environment that combines elements of Tokyo with Indian aesthetics. To develop a design palette that emphasises accuracy and details as important aspects.

Through the use of subdued colour, textures and patterns, this home honours the resident’s Indian ancestry.

The features in the interiors are evocative of delicate, minimalist Japanese design.

Private Villa

This edgy and minimalistic home was designed for Emirati influencer Anas Bukhas.

With a mix of protected places, cocooned spaces and shared spaces with the rest of the world.

A geometrically refined work. The colour palette is cut back and controlled, with clean lines, smooth utility and an abundance of natural light dominating.
