Salone del Mobile 2023 – When & Where
The Fieramilano fairgrounds in Rho, where the Salone del Mobile 2023 will be held from 18th to 23rd April, are easily accessible by bus, M1 subway, train or car, even from Milan‘s airports. Students are permitted to attend the fair on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday; access is restricted to business professionals for the first few days before opening to the general public on Saturday and Sunday.

To enter the show, tickets must be purchased through the Salone website or mobile app. Different tickets are available for various visitors (including journalists, students, businesspeople, and members of the general public), allowing them to enter the fair on different days. Make sure you buy the correct ticket and log in with your platform profile.
The Best Ways to Get Around the Salone del Mobile 2023
This year, the Salone app will make planning your trip easier than ever. Users can easily find exhibitors using the wayfinding service and the interactive map, which are accessible via the website or mobile app. Attendees can get any information they need right at the fair by asking staff at the information booths or using the large signs at each pavilion’s entryway, as is customary.
What’s New at Salone del Mobile 2023
- The arrangement of the pavilions on a single floor improves the visitor experience.
- Lombardini 22 designed a new Euroluce layout that is less orthogonal, influenced by city planning, and ensures optimal visitor flows and exhibitor visibility.
- Pavilion 13, designed by Formafantasma with a site-specific installation, will include a large arena for lectures.
Salone del Mobile 2023 Events You Shouldn’t Miss
The cultural programme of the Salone del Mobile 2023 will be moved for the first time from the city centre to the fairgrounds, inside the Euroluce pavilions, and will include the following events:
- Beppe Finessi organised a series of exhibitions with Constellations (created by Formafantasma) strewn about, as well as four exhibitions conceptualised by various curators in collaboration with devoted exhibition designers.
- Aurore, the arena created by Formafantasma and House of Lyria, will host events, workshops, and discussions, as well as unique immersive experiences.
- In a programme curated by Annalisa Rosso, Shigeru Ban, Nao Tamura, Kjetil Traedal Thorsen, and Marius Myking from Snhetta, and Andrea D’Antrassi from MAD, will speak with international journalists.
- Gaetano Pesce, one of the most influential figures in Italian design history, is interviewed by SaloneSatellite, and also the directors of some of the world’s most prestigious design schools.
- Site-specific artwork by Maurizio Nannucci, one of the most powerful interpreters of light in contemporary art.
- Formafantasma designed and curated this bookstore specialising in design, art, and illustration publications.
- Piero Lissoni created a bistrot and a fine dining restaurant in according to the Euroluce biennial concept.
