Design and Technology With A Human Dimension

Salone Del Mobile 2022, as we all know, is full of events, displays, conferences, live presentations, and other activities designed to excite us, and the S. Project is no exception. Nature, the circular economy, and craftsmanship are all intertwined with design, simplicity, and emotional power in this show. With 116 exhibitors, the second edition of S. Project to give places to live where well-being is the major focus is a return to roots, a recovery of natural materials, and ecological and sustainable processes.

The dominant materials in the scene are natural-treated wood with sinuous and ergonomic lines. Furthermore, kitchens and bathrooms use smart technology to simplify and optimize consumption.

Also, extremely important tapestries, wallpapers, and tiles are physically and dry installed, and the furniture complements, vases, and lights are a cement between indoors and outside, implying that life must be lived equally between home, office, and social situations.

Furthermore, the architect Mario Cucinella’s work “Design With Nature” is an excellent method to think on how we must adapt and adjust in the face of environmental issues. How? With new methods of coexisting in the world rather than exploitation.

Gessi, on the other hand, has a green philosophical method – wellbeing for nature – which has been their objective since they were born thirty years ago. Sustainability is the way forward with creative multifunction programs or taps that adapt to the demands of the client.

Artemide’s core is lighting, and they have eleven luminous arms that are all unified and joined in a technical apparatus. It is very graphic and simple, with a diffuser in a variety of textures and materials, including natural fibers and sustainable yarns.

Finally, Atelier Vierkant features tactile pots and vases in huge and outsized proportions, with an emphasis on ancestral shapes, raw finishes, and earth hues. These Belgian artists are worried about social and environmental issues, and they are showcasing items that have been created and coloured with natural oxides.
