Maison et Objet 2018 September edition just finished and it brought the most exciting news for interior design lovers: from the most representative brands of our days to the most exquisite design trends, Maison et Objet is, as always, one of the biggest authorities in the interior design world and professionals.
BRABBU participation was memorable! From debuting three new products, the brand presented different interior spaces – living room, dining room, reading corner – and an exquisite wallpaper that became a must to any interior designer. The brand is known for its wide range of products and eclectic design.
First, we presented for the first time the FITZROY | Sofa. FITZROY Sofa is inspired in Mount Fitz Roy, a mountain in Patagonia, whose name is a tribute to Robert FitzRoy, the captain of the ship that transported Charles Darwin in his travel around the world. This curved sofa, with its back inspired in the outstanding mountain shape, is fully upholstered in cotton velvet and the base is in matte casted brass. FITZROY Sofa will add an organic element to any living room set.
The second product that BRABBU presented for the first time was the Colosseum | Console. Besides the strong geometric composition and presence, this product is customizable in finish and measures. The Roman Colosseum is one of the new seven wonders of the world. Inspired by its empowering presence, COLOSSEUM Console Table was created. Made of Red Lacquer with translucent black with gloss varnish, this modern console table will help you bring the most enduring icon of Italy to any home decor.
To finish off the round of new products, there is Eruption Fireplace. This vulcano shaped Wall Fire represents the natural phenomenon of an eruption trough it’s rough looking steel structure and its chimney like firebox. The electrical fire together with the heating system makes Eruption Wall Fire a perfect fit for any environment willing to stand out among the others.
One of the main advantages of working with BRABBU is the wide range of products that the brand offers. Solutions for any living room, dining room, bathroom, bedroom, entrances, reading corners and much more. This edition of Maison et Objet, the brand showed off two different sets of dining rooms, one living room and a reading corner.
Featuring Malay Armchairs from the Rare Edition, this living room set breathes out fierceness. The center product was inspired by one of the largest and tallest trees in the world that grows in California. Just like it, SEQUOIA Center Table is a force of Nature. The distinct walnut root veneer top shows the passage of years and the base in brass with aged patina adds a refined touch. This coffee table proves the beauty of the action of time.
Briging it all together, there is Yupik Wool Rug. The Yupik are a group of indigenous people Alaska. Traditionally, the families spent spring and summer time at fishing camps, and then joined with others at village sites for the winter. The travel to search for food and the resistance to cold weather of this people are represented on the YUPIK hand-tufted dyed wool rug, like the routes that they have taken for all these years.
This outstanding dining room is a winner. From the Apis dining table – a mesmerizing product – featuring a small table top in stained oak with brass details and a base in matte brass. BRABBU placed it in a modern dining room and this round dining table sure did impress.
Not one step behind, there is Naicca Suspension Light. The allure of Mexico’s Giant Crystal Cave was the inspiration for NAICCA Suspension Light, a round chandelier that represents the legend of crystal origins. The aged brushed brass structure and the Quartz crystal diffuser merge together to brighten any home decor, filling the room with a strong yet peaceful atmosphere.
Wrap it up with a refined dining chair with a bold color – like the customized Bourbon Dining Chair – and you’ve got yourself a truly uncommon dining room.
Furthermore, BRABBU presented a second dining room solution with a wider dining table able to fit 6 to 10 people. Plateau dining table features a top in walnut root veneer with a matte varnish and details in matte hammered brushed aged brass, adding a special touch. The base is in matte black lacquer, making it an intriguing dining furniture piece.
The Zulu Dining Chairs have been BRABBU choice in the past tradeshows. Fully upholstered in cotton velvet, this button tufted dining chair is full of personality, making it an unforgettable chair design whether the dining room decor it is placed in.
Ligh it up with Horus Suspension Light that promises to be promises to be a reference in modern interior design. Featuring a structure in matte black lacquered brass and shades in matte brass, this chandelier is perfect for creating a grand reveal over a fierce living room sofa.
The reading corner featuring the Malay Armchair from Rare Editions Collection, Mecca Side table and Cyrus Table Light.
