Gray bedroom design is not only impressive, but it can also be beneficial for your general wellbeing, as gray tones help you calm down after a stressfull day. Styling a gray interior, well, is a demanding task, but when it is handled well, it makes you fall in love in its design for a lifetime. It could go amazingly well with several design styles, the secret of success is finding out what is the right amount of grey for each of those styles.
How about a combination of gray with another color that is tricky to use? Look at the mid-century themed bedroom in the picture below. A bedroom with light gray (almost white) walls could look gorgeous with a hint of powder blue, wooden finishes, textured white bed linen and perhaps some golden accessories.
If you are feeling a bit nostalgic and have some vintage pieces to display – decide favourably on a dark, warm shade of gray in a slightly green tone. Just a bit of mustard yellow and black and white chevron to complete the color palette. For the materials used in this look – stick to wood, brass, wooden wall panelling.
Now for the faithful scandinavian style lovers. Geometric patterns, cold and light shades of gray, natural materials such as birchwood and linen… All this creates an atmosphere suitable for a harmonious nightrest. To make the look completed accessorize it with fresh flowers, candles, design albums, fur bed throws – in other words, the things every design lovers can’t go without.
For those of you who favor slightly bolder colors – there is no reason why you shouldn’t try adding some gray to your bedroom design style as well. With lots of art displayed in black frames, some wooden accents in the furniture and beige fabrics it sets you in a good mood at once.
Luxurious classical design – beige and gray do pair well together. Light champagne beige and light, slightly bluish grey are a perfect selecion for a room with a lot of detail both on the wall panelling and quilted furniture with some frame ornaments. A slight hint of aged metal is also welcome.
Such untypical color scheme as stone gray with blush… Aged wooden floors, copper lamp, peonies… One could just gaze at it for hours, what more is there to add.
Hope you found this post inspiring for your own home design. I can’t wait to give you even more Home Inspiration Ideas, keep on following the blog for the exciting upcoming posts!
